The Internet Predators Song…

Do you know Brock Purviance?  He was a music teacher at the denverschoolofmusic.com

There are predators among us, which prey on the innocent and the vulnerable.  He uses words with a soft sweet melody that touch your heart and make you feel whole.

You think you are friends, and then he whispers more words, your heart begins to melt, and the net is stretched tighter around you.  Slowly you fall and the net digs deeply into your fragile, soft skin. You have no idea that the man of your dreams is now the substance of your very pain.

He calls you beautiful, and he slithers into your mind, slowly your mind is his mind, your heart beat trips and bumps along, the words I love you becomes his soft song.

When did this happen? How did this happen?  When did he know my life, my family, and my friends?  Why did I not see this happen?  How could I have completely let him in?

I heard of these men who slide through the internet into our lives pulling my values from my soul, and filling me with hatred for family and friends who ask me questions, I do no want to know.

Who is this 30 year old man that seduces 14-16 year old innocents?  Why does he not pursue women who are his own age?  Could it be; a woman his own age would see through his glib tongue and through the facade of sweet lies?

OR could it be he enjoys the power, the thrill of having a child-woman enthralled with him?  Perhaps the stroking to his ego is all that he wishes to have, and the innocent ones are so easy to manipulate and hold in his hand…

But now it is too late, the innocence is gone, the family is shattered, and his form of darkness has almost won.   How the young heart breaks and the soul cries out in pain… the darkness closes in and the light glimmers so far away.  The predator has won yet another victim, and his ego is filled with victory, while a life lies in ruin, not knowing who to go to, where to turn, and this man moves slowly on…

What is that the innocent hears?   Once again a voice sliding along the internet, with words that have a soft sweet melody, which touches her heart and makes her feel whole.

A new victim, a new innocent is again about to be won… What is this predator and what is he called…Bock Purviance, the evil and insidious one.

Is your child safe?  When was the last time you checked your child’s cell phone logs?  How many e-mail accounts does your child have?  Do you know all the people in your child’s contact list?

How safe is your child?  We thought ours was safe.
